16 days until the 2012 Leadville Trail 100 Mile Run...
What a great way to finish my training in Iowa - running 6 miles on a beautiful Thursday evening with my son Michael. Mike and I had a wonderful talk about him leaving for college and how much he has enriched our family in the 18 years we have had the privilege of raising him. I'm going to miss him a lot, fortunately I will get to see him quite a bit too since he is attending St. Ambrose where I work. Life is good! Off to Colorado in the morning!
